Amposta, capital of Montià’s district,
is a country town that covers an extensive area that goes from Montsià
sierra to part of the Ebro Delta. This diversity of environments
offers a large number of tourist possibilities during the whole
year.
The climate of Amposta is a Mediterranean with maritime influence,
although the presence of the saws of the Montsià makes this

'inn on the river', denomination would have to substitute that of
Hibera.
